About Marcus Freudenmann
This is usually not my favourite part - to talk or write about myself - but I guess you like to know a bit about me, and why my life has led me to share with you so many things.
First of all, I do own every trait. I am mean and nice, kind and cruel, happy and sad - just like anyone else. I have my ups and downs and have the same problems like you and the rest of the world. But there might be one tiny little difference.
I have decided to appreciate both sides of the coin.
Many of us are searching for a single-sided happiness – one without suffering and without pain – which is virtually impossible. And so they get angry and sad and frustrated even if there is no reason to. But see it this way: If there is no mountain, then there can be no valley. If there are no clouds, there is no rain…and rain brings the blossoms and fruits. We need both the black and the white to achieve any growth.
So why should I strive for only one side? Quite a while back, I made a decision to appreciate my enemies and embrace them, as they make me grow. I decided to welcome challenges and problems, as they allow me to learn. This attitude has allowed me to develop a special eye for the good in every bad situation. There is always something that holds the balance, and once we know it and are aware of it, there is no need to suffer any more. But I will elaborate on this in my articles.
Another important point to mention is that I have studied Jyotish - also known as Vedic Astrology - for a long time. The main reason for learning this science was never to use it for readings, (which I now do), but to understand the flow of Karma, Destiny, Free will, and Curses. I was curious about how human evolution can be influenced and to what degree we could do so. In a nutshell, this seems to be my life purpose – to find conclusive answers to these questions – and I will not give up before I can give you an answer which is not based on opinion or hearsay
And here is a little about my life journey.
A long time back, I was in a difficult situation when I had to decide to either live my father’s dream and to follow in his footsteps, or to live my own life the way I wanted to. At first, as a good son, I attempted to go his way but soon realized that this was not possible. On the day I told him I decided to go my own way, I realized that he was not sad and disappointed but rather happy and relieved about my decision; and I swore then and there that this had to be my life principle for the future.
NEVER EVER do something which is not in line with your values."
"Always make your dreams come true!" and
"Never give up until they are achieved."
And so my journey began. Giving myself permission to live the life of my dreams was like winning the jackpot in a lottery, and it led me to live in 4 different countries of my choice, in the most exciting houses and places – right at the beach; on a hilltop of a small island in New Zealand, and in the rolling green hinterlands of Australia. I traveled to 45 countries; flew my own airplane around icebergs floating in the ocean on my way around the globe; sailed, dived, parachuted, hang-glided, climbed mountains, danced…and just did what I loved and loved what I did.
The answer is “No,” in case you’re thinking I was a spoiled child and got all the money from dad. I had to work as hard as anyone else for all the things that made my life so fascinating, and I had heaps of setbacks that tested my persistence and my promise to never give up. I went broke several times, had rejected building proposals, lost all my money - but always recovered quickly because I never lost my real wealth. And that was my mind’s permission to be great, successful, and to live the life of my dreams.
My work as a designer, architect and entrepreneur brought me to great wealth because I invested enthusiasm and drive into every start-up.
Since 1989, I have shifted my interest towards my spiritual growth and learned with great masters in many different subjects, attended seminars, joined gurukulams, and studied whatever seemed most appropriate at any given moment. On my quest to find answers, I studied different religions and practised many different meditation techniques, searching for the one that most suited me. I learned Jyotish in India from reputed teachers like Sanjay Rath, Robert Koch, David Frawley, Chandrashekar Sharma and many others, and was initiated into sacred learning techniques.
Then in 2000 I decided to share whatever I had acquired in the course of my life and started to teach, consult, and transform. However, I felt it was not good enough. The old German perfectionist in me always screamed, "Let’s first learn a little more!" (Learning is, anyway, my greater passion.) This struggle continued for over 4 years until I finally felt ready to approach the world. From then on, I have always loved to inspire, write, coach, and guide.
And now, since November 2007, I have also discovered the Internet. These pages will be constantly updated with new articles and with reports from my journeys to great places all around the world. I will share with you whatever I think is worth sharing, and I hope you enjoy.
Kind regards,
